Compensatory Education

Please note: Parents have the right to request information regarding the qualifications of their child's teachers and whether or not their child is provided services by a paraprofessional (teaching assistant).

Mrs. Michelle Dibble - Student Support Teacher/Academic Intervention Teacher and Coordinator

  • The Compensatory Education Services and/or Academic Intervention Services (AIS) at Milford Central School are funded partially by the No Child Left Behind Program.
  • Milford Central School provides extra academic help to students who are at risk of not meeting the state standards in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies.
  • In kindergarten and first grade we offer primary intervention services in reading and writing.
  • In second through fourth grade we offer remedial: reading, math and writing.
  • In fifth through eighth grade we offer remedial: reading, math, writing, science and social studies.
  • In ninth through twelfth grade we offer Academic Intervention Services for ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies.
