Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you had an
opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer break. As we
begin this new academic year, I am thrilled to share some exciting
updates with you.
First and foremost, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all
the new families joining our MCS community. We are delighted to
have you as part of our school district. We are confident that you
will find the resources, support, and opportunities necessary for
your children’s success.
To our returning families, welcome back! Your ongoing support
and involvement in your children’s education is invaluable.
Together, we can create a vibrant and inclusive community that
fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
I am particularly excited to announce that we have refined our
Mission, Vision, and Goals for the upcoming school year. These
guiding principles will shape our collective efforts and serve as
a compass as we navigate the year ahead. Our Mission remains
steadfast: to prepare students for life beyond school through high
quality, diversified and engaging educational experiences. Our
Vision is to be a district where all children are welcomed, valued,
and encouraged to care for themselves and others in an environment
where they can learn and grow as critical thinkers and responsible
global citizens.
Aligned with our Mission and Vision, we have set clear Goals
for the year ahead. We are committed to:
1. Academic Excellence: MCS students will develop essential
skills at each grade through an engaging and rigorous
curriculum and the support of highly qualified staff and
invested school community.
2. Student Experience: MCS will provide all students with
equitable access to experiences and educational opportunities
that cultivate student engagement, accountability, safety and
well-being.
3. Community Connection: MCS will research and study
methods to reach all members of the community within the
district to ensure they are informed and offered opportunities
to engage with the school community.
Together, as a united community, we will work towards these
goals and ensure that every student receives a high-quality
education that prepares them for future success.
I am incredibly grateful for our exceptional educators and staff
members who are committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating
learning environment. Their dedication, expertise, and passion for
teaching make MCS a remarkable place to learn and grow.
I encourage you to stay connected and involved throughout the
school year. Attend parent-teacher conferences, join our ParentTeacher Association, and participate in school events and activities.
Your active engagement is vital to your child’s educational journey.
In closing, I am thrilled to embark on this new school year with
all of you. Together, let us foster a love for learning, embrace new
challenges, and celebrate the achievements and growth of our
students.
Wishing you a successful and rewarding year ahead!
.

I am excited to start my second year as Milford’s principal, and as I reflect, I had an amazing first year as your principal and am looking forward to another outstanding year full of challenges, opportunities, and enjoyable days and nights.
The entire Milford School Community is thrilled to welcome our students back to school. I hope everyone was able to relax and make special memories with friends and families. I had an enjoyable summer cycling the local roads (lots of hills), hanging out in Goodyear Lake, and spending a week with family at the beach.
Now it is time to look forward to a wonderful new school year as we embark on our school theme “Community”. We will be learning from the community, giving back to the community, and learning to be a part of a community. I am excited our students are part of the Milford “community”.
I am thrilled about all that this school year has to offer and look forward to working collectively with the entire school “community” to ensure that our students are provided with the best educational experience possible to be critical thinkers, responsible citizens, and prepared to be successful in their endeavors after high school.
Each student will have an opportunity to create a path for their personal direction with the Milford Central School community. Our “Wildcats” need to be deliberate with their choices, use the resources that are available to them and always believe in themselves. I believe in every single student at Milford.
I look forward to seeing our students on the first day of school, Thursday, September 7, 2023. We will have a quick assembly together in the PAC during Period 1 to review important information, and to welcome everyone to a new school year.
