Parent Portal-School Tool
Milford Central School uses SchoolTool as its student management system. If you notice anything that is incorrect or needs to be changed, please notify the Guidance Office at 607-286-7710 or email Nicole Couse.
Please be aware that you may receive emails from no reply @scric.org; this will be the school emailing you directly from the student database.
The Parent Portal can be accessed through the District website or the SchoolTool mobile app, which is available for download in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
If a parent, guardian, or PIPR does not have a valid email address on file, or if the email address on record is incorrect or duplicated, please contact the Guidance Office for assistance at 607-286-7710 or email Nicole Couse.

SchoolTool / Parent Portal
What is SchoolTool?
SchoolTool Parent Portal is a way for you to have access and view your students' contact’s, attendance, grades and even assignments.
How do you access the parent portal?
You need to contact the school Guidance office to have an account set up. You must have an email on file in order to receive an email from SchoolTool with a generated password. Follow the instructions/link to login. It will prompt you to change the password after you have successfully logged in.
Can anyone see my students' information?
No, only your students' contacts on file with parent portal access can view. You can see who has access by viewing the contact list that have the little computer icon.

Why does my cell phone number show up as a Home Phone number?
SchoolTool requires every student/contact to have a “home phone number”. If you do not have a separate “home phone” we duplicate the primary contact’s cell phone number as the home phone number.
Parent Square - Communications
What is Parent Square?
Parent Square (formerly used Class Dojo) is a way for the school to contact you in regards to your child. It could be a general message about activities going on in the community or in the building, a teacher reaching out about a classroom activity or a field trip.
It is also the robo calling system for emergency phone calls such as snow day closings, emergency closings or just a reminder phone call. Only parents/guardians will receive these messages/phone calls unless it is specifically requested by a parent or guardian to give someone else access.
Who will be notified?
Only contacts listed as Mom, Dad, Parent, or Guardian will be automatically contacted.
How We Communicate
Our district uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text, and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically syncs with our Student Information System to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences for when and how they are notified.
ParentSquare is a safe, secure, and modern approach to communication and collaboration between school and home.
