Dear Milford Wildcats,

I am excited and honored to be a part of the Milford community as the PK-12 principal!  I feel blessed to have the opportunity to to continue to uphold the tradition of excellence at Milford Central Schools, and to work together with the amazing students, dedicated staff, supportive parents, and school community.  I look forward to meeting you all as I attend community events and visit our local businesses.

I am coming to Milford after being the principal of DCMO BOCES in Norwich, New York.  I have also been a principal at Norwich High School, assistant principal at Bainbridge-Guilford Jr.-Sr. High School, a social studies teacher at Johnson City High School, and a teacher at the Children’s Home of Wyoming Conference.  All of these positions have prepared me for the awesome responsibility that we are undertaking together at Milford Central Schools.

My wife and I have raised a son and two daughters, and we are very proud of who they have all become.  My happy place is being on the farm with our horses, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs.  I also love being a musician, as I have been for over 30 years.  I have been very lucky to be able to live out my childhood dreams, and lucky to have had the most supportive family to allow me to do that.

Yet, education is my passion.  I hope to provide opportunity and access for all students as I fully embrace our vision of being “a district where all children are welcome and valued in an environment where they can learn and grow as critical thinkers and global citizens.”  I plan to spend the first couple of months learning about our students, families, and staff.  I am also excited to continue the innovative programming that Milford Central Schools has to offer.  Creating those positive relationships and continuing these student-centered programs will only push us closer to our vision.

Truly, education is the first step on a path to greatness and I will support all students in becoming whomever they want to be.  Please know that my door is always open, and I look forward to meeting you all.  I can’t wait until the beginning of the school year.

GO WILDCATS!
