The Milford Central School community is deeply saddened by the loss of Senator James Seward. He was a consistent advocate for rural education and a beloved friend to our school community, providing invaluable support to our district. His advocacy has greatly influenced the lives of our students and community. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

New Book Vending Machine!
We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Oneonta Charitable Foundation to introduce a new book vending machine. This innovative addition aims to inspire students to cultivate a love for reading. Phoebe Coughlan and the 5th grade class, wrote compelling responses to the question, "Why do we require a book vending machine," which led to us securing this awesome opportunity!

On Thursday, our 8th-grade students officially graduated from middle school and marked the occasion with a recognition ceremony. The PAC was filled with proud parents, teachers, and enthusiastic classmates who gathered to celebrate the students' hard work and successes. You are now high schoolers! Congratulations!
Thursday was also our Annual Senior/PK graduation parade. It’s an adorable tradition at MCS where the seniors and Pre-K students march together in a heartwarming procession. The seniors, dressed in their caps and gowns, proudly walked hand-in-hand with the little ones, also wearing caps. We lined the track and celebrated the graduates!
